bike riding
last night i went to this concert in the village square. i listened to this old guy sing old rock n roll and play the guitar, and i sang along too and watched people dance. it was very nice and refreshing and awesome cause it was outside under the stars. but then its like 930ish and i realize: i have to ride my bike back home. alone, in the dark.
now, i am in sunriver, where there are pretty much zero street lights and hardly anyone keeps houselights on past 8 30 or 9. plus, it's practically a forest here. so i had to ride my bike for 20+ minutes in the pitch black night through the forest all alone with basically only my cell phone light to guide me, and my keen sense of direction... i guess. but it was pretty ridiculous, because, and this is the whole point of my story: i came around a bend and almost hit a deer. on my bike. in the dark.

ps on a totally different note im very excited because on sunday im gonna go see lil abner, the musical i was the lead in back in middle school. FUN
