Have you thought of using your bike to get around between the stations and your final destination?

When it cools off a bit more, yes. I get sweaty enough with the walk. :)

Well, with cycling at a reasonable pace you'd get some greater amount of breeze. And you can coast. You can't coast while walking.

No, but I can't bike to my office without following the streets, which means making a U-turn, unless I go through the neighborhood. Buckhead isn't the problem, it's the Chamblee office, the bus routes out there are too sketchy.

U-turn? Go out of the marta station on the north side where the buses come in and out (there's a drop off there) on the Downtown Chablee side. Up Peachtree road, left on Broad and you're at the shopping center after you cross Peachthree Industrial.

In Buckhead. You have to take P'tree South, then left at Piedmont, down to the Buckhead Bread co then u-turn back north.

Did you investigate that pedestrian bridge?

That goes to Lenox, not Buckhead station.

Actually, better yet, you can take Highland drive to Park Circle to Martina Drive. The Bridge for East Paces Ferry Rd could also work to get to the MARTA station. That's a nice neighborhood in there so it should be reasonably safe.
