We went and saw Pacific Rim on Sunday. I liked it too. I appreciated having a heroine who could take care of herself but the actress didn't come across as trying to hard to show she was tough. Does that make sense? Anyhow, it was worth a watch.

yeah, she was a strong character without having to be a strong female character (you know, grease stained wifebeater, getting into bar brawls, that sort of thing). She knew exactly who she was, and her own mind, and she had nothing to prove to anybody but Pentecost. Sor awesome.
