I don't have a Shaw or Peggy icon, so Maria will have to stand in for both!

Today is awesome. There are lots of reasons, but in no particular order.

SARAH SHAHI IS GOING TO BE A REGULAR NEXT SEASON ON PERSON OF INTEREST. She is returning to my TV playing my favorite type of her characters (I watched Fairly Legal for one season because of her, but I missed Reese through all of it, and her character was incredibly thankless on Chicago Fire because she had to deal with Most Boring White Guy Not Named Casey all the time, so POI is such a better fit for her! Please don’t screw this up, POI!), and everything is sunshine and nothing hurts.

THEY ARE MAKING A MOVIE ABOUT PEGGY CARTER. A MOVIE. ABOUT PEGGY CARTER. It’s a short, but it’s about Peggy Carter and I am choosing to see this as a step in the right direction.
Marvel are also making a short film, which is basically ‘What Peggy Did Next’, which will be shown at Comic-Con and be on the DVD extras of the second film (Captain America: The Winter Soldier). - Hayley Atwell

I haven’t quite worked up to a full excitement about Agents of SHIELD (though the line about the backronym made me laugh) because Lola is the most clichéd name for a car Coulson could have picked, but this? THIS MAKES ME EXCITED.

MY ASSIGNMENT FOR intoabar IS NATASHA MEETS FELICITY SMOAK. And there are, you know, some great pairings that I am excited to read. Like Emerson Cod/Nick Miller, House/Sailor Mars, and Buffy/Veronica Mars, among several others.

I want all the stories about Shaw and Zoe being in the same scene and Reese having to blink a lot because the heart-eyes are starting to hurt.

Now, if you need me, I shall be dancing. BECAUSE TODAY IS AWESOME.

(the New Girl finale was a little less than awesome, but that's because I have triggers about people selfishly ruining big events for other people like, oh, I don't know, weddings. Schmidt = actually the worst and not in an opposite way. He sucks)

avengers, peggy carter, person of interest, natasha romanoff
