She’d just gotten her spot warm. “You’re in my spot.”

Clint sighed and climbed to his feet. “Refusing to share your body-heat makes you seem selfish.”

She pounced on her warm spot and burrowed in with the blankets up to her neck.

Clint pouted. “You sure I can’t join you?”

All the banter and snark, I love it all. And the end, aww yiss :D

Any day I can make JD faint is a good day. Now if only he'd hit his head on the way down. Hard. :)

Thank you! I had a good time trying to figure out how to get all of the clearly-this-is-meant-to-be-a-sci-fi-AU prompts into a science AU instead. I like to keep people on their toes.

And I listened to a lot of Joan Jett while coming up with the names, clearly. :)

You know I'm totally in love with this series, right? Bias on my part or not, it's just SO GOOD! Clint and Natasha, witty dialogue, snark and banter, whales and penguins -- what's not to love?

Crimson and Clover -- excellent choice!

I never realized how much I needed an opening sentence to contain the words "bird poop" before I wrote this. Clint's room must reek. I hope Tony's working on that. ;)

Hehe, I do think you're majorly biased, yes. I could throw an orca in a random story and you'd be like, "BEST STORY EVAR!" (Sometimes I am tempted) But I'm glad you're enjoying the banter and snark that are our icebound lovebirds! I get a major kick out of writing this AU. I know I always blame you (because it's your fault), but it's still so much fun. And the challenges you posted yesterday were a lot of fun, too!

Tony and Bruce are going to make a fortune (along with Clint's gratitude) with the new, organic air freshener they invent. I hope Clint didn't leave anything embarrassing out where Darcy can find it while she's birdie-sitting.

I suppose I can't really deny it, but the orca would have to at least make sense for it to be the "BEST STORY EVAR!" ;) And if accepting blame keeps you happy and writing in this AU, blame me all you want, it's all my fault, mea maxima culpa -- and I'm SO not sorry! =D

And how awesome are you that you managed a Pern cameo!?!
