Quick break from reading Lessing articles, and other such nonsense.

I love Saturdays. I am still in my jammies, knitting and getting work done.

Last night was spenfabuful. Annie and Laura are amazing people, as always. And I still, even when fully awake, wish that I could put Annie reading her Kingdom of G-d in America book in my pocket, so that I could pull her out every now and then and listen to her enraptured reading aloud. Yeah... I love my friends. I think everything else went well yesterday too. Services were pretty good, although I am still, I think, not very good at leading them. The guitar is getting tolerable, I am actually really proud of how well it is going, but I still mess up A LOT, and I am worried that this might interfere with peoples' prayer experience. Also, I'm just not proactive enough about reading I think. Maybe it is because I don't really think of myself as particularly qualified to be leading anyone to do anything.

But anyway, back to Lessing.

Oh, and a paragraph from my sister's e-mail the other day, because I think it is lovely:

You should listen to your footsteps... that´s one of my favorite ¨Yay for being
human¨ things to do. Along with playing in the dirt, watching clouds, taking showers, touching cold (or hot) things, tearing leaves and putting them back together, and
stuff like that.

Isn't she fabulous? Don't you just love being human?
