1. Are you left handed or right handed? And have you at any point in your life tried to use your other hand more?
I'm right-handed. I've occasionally tried to write a bit with my left hand, but I never made any concerted attempt to switch. I guess I should count myself lucky to be in the majority group so no one ever tried to make me.
2. What do you do besides writing, artistically? Are you any good at it?
Uhh. Artistically? Honestly, not so much. I have one folder of attempts at sketches and watercolors, and twice I've sung something short at the open mic I go to, but that's as far as it goes. Writing is pretty much it for me.
3. How many countries have you been to? Make a list, if they're not too many.
USA, Germany, Switzerland, France, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, and Australia. And Liechtenstein! I won't count countries where I never left the airport. So I make it nine.
4. How long does it take you to complete a fic, normally?
Normal, schnormal! :) Seriously, most of the ultrashorts didn't take longer than a day each, while the Songs series was written over five months, and In His Kitchen over about eight months. (And I have a draft going currently that I started in November 2001, and I still maintain I'm going to finish it.) But I didn't work on those stories every day during those months - longer projects usually incorporate several interruptions for shorter things that come due, or sudden inspirations, or just breaks from writing altogether. So, uh, it varies.
5. If you had to lie when asked what your favourite colour is, what would you say, and what motivation would you give for liking that colour?
Hee. I would say yellow! Because it is so fucking cheerful!
