So, there have been a few points of interest in the last little while.

-We had a gigantic thunderstorm! It was awesome. XD
-I finally saw Iron Man 2
-I want on a boat ride down in Tokyo
-I actually got to light some fireworks (sparklers) on the 4th.
-I went to Maebashi's Tanabata Matsuri with L last Saturday. It was miles and miles of food stands, with a game every once in a while. Overall, a very Japanese experience! ^^
-I had to get a check-up, since (public?) employees in Japan have to get one every year. The standard packaged included:
・Getting weighed and measured
・getting my sight tested (Basically a reading chart, but they had a machine!)
・blood pressure test
・urine test
・The Littlest Hearing Test
・a chest x-ray
・blood tests
・An extremely short minute with a Real Doctor (possibly because of my being English, but that line was moving pretty fast) and
・An ECG.
I found it pretty bizarre! They did not even shine any lights in my eyes. But everything seems to be pretty healthy, which is good. Also, getting blood drawn: not nearly as scary as I had built it up to be in my head.
-We're in the last full week of school before summer break, which is pretty exciting!
-NASA just released the new Centennial Challenges, which competition I love.
-Aaaaaah, R & J get here this Sunday, aaaaaaah!! *freaks out*
-23 days and counting until Operation: Beach Every Day begins. XD

So things are pretty good, basically! How's about you guys?
