Time off...
I'm a big fan off time off, it's a good way to step back, put things in perspective, rejuvenate so you can face another year, etc.
I only have one problem.... when you work in academia, why, in the name of all that's holy, would you take vacation time during the first week of the semester!!! ACK! I can't even imagine!
I know this time of year doesn't effect some of the library staff quite the way it does the faculty who are doing lots of orientation sessions and teaching, but OMG! Be real!
Sorry, just got a sub call for day 2 of classes since someone will be out and it started this need to vent a bit.
