A Song of Ice And Fire: Thoughts *G*
I need an icon.
Anyway, some random thoughts about my two favourite characters behind the cut. This is spoilery for the *whole* series including Dance with Dragons (as far as I got there).
I'm about 40% through Dance With Dragons, so if you comment - please no spoilers for DwD! I'm currently at the place where the dwarf girl attacked Tyrion and Jorah in that inn after they talked to the Widow, so anything that happened up to that point is fine.
I'm also spoiled for what happens at the end of DwD to Jon. Though that was an accident.
Anyway.
Jon! Daenerys!
I'm going with the most popular theory that Jon's the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna. Because that one makes so much sense.
But even so, with them being aunt and nephew, I'd really love for those two to be married and ruling Westeros together at the end of the series *G*. They would represent the whole "Ice and Fire" theme, and aunt/nephew is a rather far relationship where Targaryens are concerned, so that shouldn't trouble them.
Just think of the beautiful babies they'd make! *G*
Speaking of babies, I do think that Daenerys can actually get pregnant again. That prophecy probably means something different than she thinks it does, I just haven't quite worked it out just yet.
Also, is it me, or could "Young Griff" aka "Aegon" be a fake? Though his colouring seems to be right, so I don't know. The whole thing just seems very off to me. Maybe Connington knows about Jon and has been plotting all these years to establish "Aegon" as the rightful heir to the throne instead of Jon? I'm probably quite a bit off here with that speculation, so just throwing that thought out there. Maybe I'll know more by the end of Dance with Dragons.
