grateful

it is strange how i can feel so much suffering, and yet.. in a way i feel as if i live a charmed life. i feel as though things happen exactly as they were meant to. i follow the random currents of my life, as they slowly guide me in the right direction, paying careful attention to messages others will never receive because they never got that ( Read more... )

I have SO got the same things going on. I have no idea why some of the things that are happening are, in fact, happening, but I am sure that there is a purpose, and I am grateful for it.

good to hear it :) do you sense an increase in the feminine energy? because i've been hearing a lot about it, and i'm finally starting to feel it and see it around me.

Yes, I feel it too. I have been pacing like a cat in a cage all summer. I am ready for the Big Change to happen, and I (think) I am ready.

Wyrmwwd is a Welsh-ized spelling of Wormwood. ("W" is Welsh can be pronounced "oo"). Usually thought of as the "bitter herb" in the Bible, it is also the active ingredient in Absinthe. It contains a nervine with they say is addictive, although Absinthe has such a high alcohol content, one wonders. Wormwood's Latin name is Artemisia Absinthe. It is sacred to Artemis, and is also the patron herb of herbalists (of which, I am one).

Now, a "wyrm" may also mean a dragon or particularly nasty, evil, dragon-like creature. Hmmmm. I have that reputation in some circles :-). However, I am really quite harmless. It can also mean the element of death and decay. These things are only transformation from one state to another. I also have 2 prominent dragon tattoos, and am expecting 2 more. (I got one of them at White Tiger in Rochester, btw).

I am in Syracuse now. I lived in Webster when I first got up here, then Irondequoit, right across the street from the amusement park, then I moved 50 east to Huron. I miss Huron.

Syracuse is too big/not big enough.

too big/not big enough? how can that be?

It is too big in that it is crowded enough that I feel imposed upon. There is traffic and noise and garbage. I have to constantly chase away people that want to use my back yard as a public toilet, and once I looked outside to find a couple having sex. I lived way out in the boonies for 7 years, and I got so I like quiet and privacy and stars in the sky. That is why it is too big.

It is too small because if I can't have my quiet and my privacy and my stars, then I want something in return. I want a job market, for one thing, and something to do that does not involved going to the bars. There is seriously nothing to do here. That is why it is not big enough. I grew up in L.A., and I still have many friends there, some on my fList, so I get homesick because of all the opportunities that they have there.
