["She is returning..."]

Wow! Saturday night TV is back on form again! [although I admit I did get bored of John's game show...]

Although I often found myself going WTF?! in general, I adored the episode. I'll be the first to admit that sometimes sci-fi [especially Who] goes right over my head but I found myself quite confused watching this & often having to try & back track to see how the story slotted together. I'm not sure, as well, whether or not you have know some stuff about the Pompeii eruption or anything?
I adored Catherine Tate in this episode, more so than the last one. She handled the emotion scenes with David fantastically, & pretty much, IMO, proved her critics from the first episode wrong, I think Donna's reaction would have been similar to some of Rose's early ones [eg: why do they all have to die, we could save them, etc] I also think that Donna & the Doctor found some common ground in the final hill scenes.
How incredible was the sets, costume, fx, etc? Amazing. & we get the Ood back next week <3 [Btw, anyone catch the subtle Rose reference[s]?]

My guilty Saturday night pleasure! Lots of amazing acts, especially the16 year old girl & her dog Gin, & also the 13 year old lad who sang opera and also some fantastically awful acts! WTF, is with that guy playing Stars Wars on the keyboard?! & Amanda & Piers ganging up on Simon & letting him go through. This is why I love this show xD

Pushing Daisies, has been raved about & advertised everywhere! The adverts looked really quirky & it looked to me like a really colourful comedy series. I guss what appealed to me most was that it was a modern fairytale. The hype, didn't disappoint. I'm already hooked & the first episode has literally only just finished.
I'm very curious to see if Ned will ever overcome his "resurrections" & finally be able to touch Chuck, but the fact that they are so close yet so far apart is what stands out for me. It's a little bit like Beth & Mick in Moonlight. We'll see as the weeks go on as to whether it sticks with me. It must be good though, as both mum & dad watched it with me xD

Hmm, entire fandom update, you lucky people! xD
