I'm still in complete shock regarding Heath Ledger, every time I log onto my journal the entires there and it's still all over the news and wow. Just such a sad loss.
Anyway, onto brighter things =)
Firstly, welcome to my world of LJ
alwaysbeenyou I'm pretty sure you'll fit right in! Especially as we both have huuuuuuge Hollyoaks obsessions =P & get well soon, the flu is a nasty thing *nods*
I'm getting really into a band called MirrorView [formally Chairman of the Bored]. The only reason I found out about them was because I remembered that Ben Gerrard [who played Cameron Clark in Hollyoaks] left the soap to pursue his music career & I looked him up & found is band =) They're really awesome but none of their music was availiable to download anywhere. So I added them as friend & have just bought a demo CD. Excited much? =P
Still on the subject of music I'm getting back into the Editors loads as a result of buying The Back Room on a whim. I'm one of these people who love rediscovering music you used to love <3
My laptop has died again =( I really have no clue whats the matter with it though, I thought I could just whip out the cables, put them back in and restart the laptop, but no such luck, I suck at computers *sigh* So for now I am doomed to type on an incredibly slow PC & share with my brother.
Hollyoaks has been really slow this week, aside from the Summer & OB stuff which is just adorable <3 Mike & Zoe seem to have gone AWOL, but from Tony Hirst & Zoe Lister's interview in Inside Soap this week it would seem that they are keeping themselves busy xD & dammit I miss Jess, & Jess& Kris together, even though she was a cow to everyone *rolls eyes*
Finally on the 'Oaks front, congratulations to Summer Stallen for winning the role of Maria in The Sound of Music [even though I knew ageeeeeees ago] & I'm hopefully off to see her with
alwaysbeenyou sometime soon *dances*
& my assistant's just informed me that she has banned "smelly man" from the cafe at work *grins* Life is sweet once more xD
