Bloodstock 2008
So I am back from Bloodstock. I took a bunch of photos and awakened my desire to become a event photographer, mainly a heavy metal event photographer! If only, that would be my dream job! Bloodstock was wicked, even though our tent leaked, and we woke up surrounded by puddles, even though I couldnt sleep because everyone was yelling "backscratcher" for some reason, even though food costs an arm and drinks, a leg. Bloodstock ruled because I saw Tyr, Akercocke, Opeth, Primal Fear, Dimmu Borgir, Moosorrow, Swallow the Sun, Iced Earth, and best of all Grand Magus. I was at the very front for Grand Magus, it was awesome. I only saw one band that sucked balls, Alestorm. Although when Soulfly came on I did have to run to my tent.
I dont ever want to camp again. Next summer I want to go to Wacken because its the 20 year anniversary, plus its every metal heads duty to go to Wacken at least once. Hopefully theres a hotel nearby! Thats why Im deffinetly going to Tuska in Helsinki next year. Because its in the town centre in a park and Ill be able to stay in a hotel and do some city shopping and sightseeing when a band I dont care to see is on.
Anywhoo, I think you may see me posting more photographs because, well, because why not? And now some photos: I dont know how to put these behind a cut tag dealy, so If you dont like it, by all means post to me and let me know, I might cut tag it.
