CRACK BOOK
So I finished Book two of Twilight. And I can't wait until tomorrow when I can get my hands on book three.
I feel rather dirty admitting that. Like I need a shower now.
I think I figured out why I dislike Bella/Edward so much, though. It's SO superficial. I mean, seriously. . . she constantly talks about his looks, his eyes, his voice, how his presence makes her "whole". At one point she even admits she isn't listening to WHAT he is saying to her, just listening to the tambour of his voice.
I have yet to run into anything where she mentions how something he has SAID or DONE has inspired her. It drives me insane.
I also really, really dislike the fact that her entire world revolves around this one statue boy. She ignores friends, family, school, work, etc, all for him. Stalker? Anyone? Anyone?
But I mean seriously. This is a healthy relationship? This si what every 14 year old fangirl dreams her love will be like. . . not anything close to reality. Hell, this isn;t even close to fiction.
