This post from another community just made me giggle.
my counter-argument is dealing with the current health care system here in America that is mainly focused on prescription pills, how easy it is to obtain them, the damage they do to society, the long-term consequences, for short-term "feel beter" results.. etc. you get where i'm going. granite, there are, of course, particular circumstances that require medication for life-long health. but i have a sneaking suspicion that Americans have ridiculously easy access to and dependence on prescription pills.. maybe than other countries, i really don't know about that issue.
