here i am
So I started knitting again a couple weeks ago; I still had this unfinished scarf with which I relearned the art of knitting over 4 years ago (and then forgot again). I'm finally just about done with it and plan to teach myself crochet and start another knitting project. yay! I will post pictures soon.
We're in Stroudsburg, PA right now at a little coffee shop called Wee Gee's, run by Anatoly, who's from Belarus. I'm thinking about trying the cold smoked salmon sandwich on real pumpernickel bread with caviar spread and/or buying one of the many Belarussian (?) chocolate bars. (oh yay! oneedge has bought the last extra dark [72% cocoa] bar - "Spartak Elite Dark Bitter" - and is sharing it. yummy!)
edit: got the sandwich - pretty good - slightly salty from the spread, goes well with the smokiness of the salmon. silly s's.
I do so enjoy my caffeine with internet (and vice versa)... and people-watching, though that's rather lacking here. one or the other is enough, however. I am looking forward to some good people-watching in NYC.
