Weekly Ramblings #53

welcome welcome pday email, here we are to read again
(to the tune of "welcome welcome sabbath morning")

Everything here is going slicker than snot on a doorknob :-P. weve had a pretty good week this week, I guess one could say. not a whole ton to report on, but what there is is happy. we havent really found anyone new in a while, but we continue to teach Abel. he has already attended church 3 times now and is still good about his baptism. we arent sure he is a complete happy meal, if you catch me, which just makes it so we have to be sure to explain stuff really good so he understands...at the same time, he has said some stuff to us showing some pretty good understanding of things. yesterday in church they announced a couple upcoming temple trips and when we passed by abel on the street later he asked about that. we had to kinda sum up what goes on in the temple real quick, but he also seemed pretty interested in going. unfortunately the first of the 2 dates is on his baptism date, but the other one is in march sometime. good good things. we have an appointment with him tonight at 730.
...that's about all we've got as far as the work goes, not a whole lot else to say, but it's all good. ive been improving myself, of late. it had actually been a good long while since Id been able to get myself out of bed at 630...usually around 700 or a bit later. but sunday I was able to get up at 625, good stuff, got in some pretty daggone good reading. Im currently in chapter 9 of Jesus the Christ...that's one fetching good book. (yeah, my idahoan comp has me saying "fetch") if you have lots of time, and can handle big words here and there, I highly suggest it. haha, mom, comparing leviticus to isaiah? that's like comparing apples to really deep, confusing doctrine...or like comparing a book full of bloody sacrifices to oranges..or something like that... :-P
the weather here continues on the rather warm side. and by warm I mean that when we happen to fall asleep on our beds suring the siesta wearing nothing but shorts..we end up waking up in a pool of sweat, and it is hard to fall asleep at night due to the heat...luckily when we do, our body cools down and the night air makes it rather chilly in the room, which is a nice change. but overall the summer is just, well, hot.
well, I guess that's just about it for this week. the ole melon just isnt thinking of anything else to say or any witty remarks to make about scott busting his head open. he should probably avoid doing that, when possible. but, until next week, just know that I love you all, and argentina does too.

Love,
Elder Casey Adams
