ANIMAL PLANET 2 on June 4th
This week we go on talking about ANIMALS and will be discussing the following questions:
- Are you or did you use to be afraid of any animals?
- Do you see animals in your dreams? What do you think it might mean?
- Do you think animals can feel or think in the same way as people do?
- Is it possible to communicate with animals? How? Do you know any examples?
- Do you think animals can sometimes have inexplicable abilities or special powers?
- Do you believe it’s possible to say something about a person judging from their pets?
- Do you think it's a good idea to keep animals in captivity (in circuses, zoos, as pets at home)? Why? Does it depend on the kind of animal? What do you think of experimenting/testing on animals? Do you think using animals for food or materials is acceptable? Why? Why not?
- Can you think of some people who are/were known to love animals or work with them? What do you know about them?
- What English idioms to do with animals do you know? Why do you think they speak about these particular animals and not others?
Time and place: Sat 4th at 5pm in Coffee Bean in 22/1 Sretenka street (it's near Sukharevskaya).
The meeting lasts 2 hours and costs 350r. If you bring a friend, you pay 600 for both of you. Please, register by calling / texting me on 8 916 3500910. The minimum level of English is Pre-Intermediate.
