The book talked about a man who, one day, had a dreadful experience. This incident occurred because we all go through it one point of our lives. It is a moment in our lives wherein we are faced with two decisions: to go on or to end it all. At the same time the incident ended, the man made a pact. Although he had not known it at the time, he ended all his hopes and dreams.
I am a hostage to my own humanity
Those words came to mind as I was reading the book. It struck me in a sense that it felt rather familiar. Everywhere I look, I see various types of people: the ones whose dreams haven't been realized, the ones who have ended their dreams, the ones who are in a crossroads, and the few who have lived it. The more I think about it, the more I realize that everyone is a slave to their own selves. It is only in the matter of setting yourself free from humanly boundaries; because we have much more potential than we know.
It is in the rules of the universe that our dreams are made to be achieved. It is only the self that restrains. Set yourself free.
