In relation to my previous post...I put it very eloquently once:

2:52 pm - "A self is a relation that relates itself to its own self"
You cannot have subjective truth without objectivity.
This duality has created somewhat of a struggle between what I hold to be true, that is a subjective truth as it relates to me and my world, and the objectiveness of a more generalized viewpoint regarding that subjectivity. How do I confront or understand something that defies my intrinsic, subjective truth? Do I accept it in the greater scheme of events by relating it to the generalized objective truth or the overall morality of existence and therefore view it as petty or ignore it on these same grounds? Or do I stand up against it and fight for this belief as it relates to my self? What if my intrinsic truth defys someone elses? Do I have an obligation as the embodiment of my truth to defend these beliefs or attack on the grounds of my beliefs? What if this opposition is unconquerable? Do I ignore it then? Do I adopt the objective truth as my own and thus alter my subjectivity?
