I am in a hurry: on the point to go to church for the Christmas mass (which is not at midnight any longer). There will be no night supper (we say "Reveillon") for me after, no dinner, maybe no meal at all, or very little. The family meeting will be tomorrow at lunch time with a copious traditional festive meal but at the moment I'll content myself with the spiritual foods!
In a way it's traditional too: formerly the custom in my very pious family was to celebrate Xmas by fasting (during the Xmas Eve, of course, not after midnight, where the "Reveillon" took place).
