Things I Do To Help Ease Cold Symptoms cairech February 2 2008, 03:06:15 UTC
I am a firm believer in the power of Raw Apple Cider Vinegar (which I sometimes calls RACV). It's so incredibly strong that it will make your eyes bug out as your throat attempts to escape the deluge by swapping places with your collarbones, so do be careful if you use it. I will add a teaspoon or thereabouts to a cup of warm water and honey to taste, and then sip/gargle/sip/gargle until the whole thing is gone.

Also, I suggest using chewable vitamin C tablets to suck on like lozenges. Beware, this is bad for your teeth, but it's very good for fighting throat & chest infections.

If you can use Lavendar Oil, put it under your nose, on your chest, and on your pillow at night. Breathe it in deeply. Do this at least twice a day or not at all. Don't want to breed resistant germs and all that.

Good luck! I'm so soarry you're sick!
