Angels Among Us
So, I've been blabbing at folks about this 5K I'm planning to run at the end of April. The last time I looked I basically looked at the date and where it was and that's about all. Today I went back and read more:

and it hit me like a ton of bricks. This is to benefit brain tumor research/brain cancer work. For me now this is a dual mission. On February 14th it will be 2 years since we lost Geva. The loss of first Gyrth then Geva are two of the major motivations I have for the body reclamation project and I am getting so many connections that are tying into this, it's like I'm having encouragement patting me on the back (or hitting me over the head with a clue-by-four)... so....
Yes, I'm going to be celebrating this achievement, but also I'll be following up on a what-can-I-do that feels like it's been outstanding. I'd love to do a team thing if I could get a few folks to come and either run or do the fun walk with me (yes, I'm going to do both because, shoot, I'll already be out there and the walk's 1.8 miles and for fun. Registration goes towards promoting the research that happens here at Duke. I think it'd be fun to be called Geva's Team. What do you think?
