Taking a page from Canada's Saturday evening TV staple, Hockey Night In Canada, the NHL came up with Hockey Day In America. I loved it and was so happy to see MY Philadelphia Flyers in the mix (and they won so it was all good). Three games started within five minutes of each other, followed by the Game of the Week, followed by the Heritage Classic outdoor event. I, of course, watched the Flyers game and the Heritage Classic and enjoyed it. I love these outdoor games. Let's hope that next year's Winter Classic doesn't feature the Penguins (they've done it twice already.)
