I saw "Shopgirl" tonight. It was interesting, of all things. It was very much a Steve Martin novella.
And of course I fell in love, like I normally do at the movies. His name was "Jeremy". He was awkward but hysterical and everything I love. Goofy and sporadic and (at the end of the movie) reliable and devoted and still, hilarious without knowing it.
He was "the kind of person that takes time to get to know, but then once you get to know them they're fabulous".
