What cruel deception, to offer something so vital as the completion of my very being yet to only provide a link more thoroughly broken than even Rubedo had managed and to take away something likewise vital to the existence of any natural being. This lack of pain is an unexpected and altogether cruel price upon what I presume to be the promise that should Rubedo re-acquire his end of the link, we shall be together in mind and heart once again. But naturellement, the option of returning this incomplete gift is not presented to be. As always, one's mistakes are not so easily mended.
