Hi everyone, spent this weekend at my friend's wedding which was great. Saw lots of old friends and new babies and ate lots of cheese (I put on 4lbs this week and clearly it is the bride's fault she gave me yummy cheese based food). The weather was lovely too, which was a fantastic surprise for April in the UK.

but that doesn't mean I wasn't pleased to hear I'd won £100 in M&S gift certifcates from the comic relief raffle done at work. Much like the yummy cakes I forced myself to buy and eat for the sake of the children at the cake sale. I don't think I've ever won anything useful in a raffle before.

Back at work.... I want another holiday :0). The mornings may just kill me but part of me is glad to get back to a routine. I put on 5lbs over Christmas (which could have been a lot worse) and I have to wait for work to renew my gym membership before I can get back to it (grr I'm trying to make sure I keep active anyway whilst I wait). Ahh the amusing British, 'it's snowing should we go home?' debate has begun in the office. Considering how much time and energy we're spending watching the snow fall, looking at the car park and examining traffic update and weather forecasts I doubt it'd make much difference to how much we got done anyway ( Read more... )

So I was planning to finish my hlh-shortcuts fic this week as I will be away from 6th-7th it would be good if I could at least get it off to a beta before then (as the deadline is the 10th).
