i'd never been tagged before either! it's strangely thrilling, isn't it? ::glee:: whoa, did you get sick after you ate the doughnuts? i can barely handle one!
37 times!?!?! that's AMAZING! I've only read it twice and i thought i was doing pretty well! XDDDDD but i bet you find something new each time you read, it's so vast and intricate!
Isis is Egyptian in origin, am I wrong? I don't know much about the moon in terms of beliefs but I do LOVE the moon and night time! am i a vampire??? O_o The moon is a beautiful thing to give sway to your life!
Yep Isis is Eygptian, I think I can date that fascination back to junior school when we did a project on the Eygptian's and there was just something about their mythology which caught my attention.
Actually think there might be something wrong with reading the same trilogy 37 times (it might be a little bit mad)thirteen of those were within about 3 months, I just read and re-read it without taking a break when I was about 16. I was a seriously weird child.
I take no responsibilty for the education, it just sort of happened, went to university one day didn't come back to the real world for another 8 years (and counting).
It seems such a waste to buy them and read them only once, besides there's always new angles to notice when you re-read. I will admit 37 times is a little excessive but LOTR was my first real love.
I totally agree with the book thing. I also enjoy rereading books after a long period of time to see if I'm going to relate to it in the same way. It's amazing how I'll enjoy a book differently after I've had kids, or experienced a new aspect of living.
heh... i think girls at aged 12 should be excused for most anything violent they can (and DO) do against their brothers! when i was 12, i got so angry at my brother, i threw an ashtray at him. luckily he dodged it, but it hit the wall behind him, shattered and a piece of glass flew back and cut his ear. i was so frightened by the experience, i've not thrown anything in anger since. well, at least not in anyone's direction!
i don't think i've read LotR triology 37 times, but i know i've probably read that set of books more often than any other story in my library. :) (though, i admit to skipping most of the songs/rhymes and such.)
*hugs* i'm glad to have gotten to know you a bit more through this meme!

I read books again and again too (although I haven't read anything 37 times) :P
