I need to go back
I woke up this morning and I could swear I felt the Coriolis Effect in my veins. Being back in Canada just doesn't feel right. It's cold here!
It's funny but after two weeks in Austalia under the hole in the ozone layer I still don't have much of a tan. I got a bit of colour on my face the first day there when I wasn't wearing sunscreen but that has pretty much faded already. I even spend an afternoon at the beach with my shirt off (my leather jacket too!) and I'm still pasty white.
Two weeks was really not enough time unfortunately. I could probably spend two years there and not run out of things to do. We did make it out on a cool day tour to see all the local wild life though. Kangaroos are adorable; one of them gave Andie a hug.
The main reason I need to go back though is to spend more time working on Music with Dan. We only had one day to do that while I was there but the results were astounding. We got 3 new songs written on top of refreshing Dan's mind on what we had done before. We work off of each other even better than we did before and not only has Dan's Guitar playing gotten even better but he also has some really good input into the lyrics as well now too.
It's seems I could get a good job there in the blink of an eye too so at the first opportunity after some details around here are cleared up (like paying off the debts from this trip) I think I may just get a work visa and move there.
