but no seriously, why can't i stop. this is three games now.
Well. I have to get a legal name change before I can get my learner's permit.
Back when I was born, my mom was still technically married to her first husband, not my biological father. However, state of Virginia assumed that I has her first husband's child and, therefore, put the wrong last name on my birth certificate. So, for the past sixteen years, my mom has been trying to get my name changed. At some point in time, Virginia wouldn't take papers from North Carolina and vice versa. Note: I was born in Virginia, but never actually lived there. Thus, the problem with papers and yadda yadda.
Now that they allow transferring of papers (I don't know what that means, but I'm taking my mom's word for it), she's been back and forth between here and Virginia getting all this paperwork and what not. She says she's going to have to take me with her soon so I can sign papers too, since I'm now of legal age to do so.
While I can get my permit now, mom says it'd be a hassle to go and get it changed once she finally gets my name changed. Therefore, it's easier this way.
At least this a better reason than me thinking she's just too lazy to let me go get it.
JOB STARTS MONDAY AAAAH. i haven't even started yet and i already don't wanna go. i'm gonna miss staying up all night sobbu.
