I remembered today that when I first heard about the Phantom movie, I got really really excited because Joel Schumacher was directing it....The vicious reality check came later when I realized that Joel Schumacher wasn't who I thought he was. True, but if you look closely in the Point of No Return sequence you can see some on Christine's dress! Emma Rossum...yum.

I saw 8mm; it was directed by Joel Schumacher and it wasn't too bad. I'd even go so far as to say it was moderately good. But there is that Batman thing... there it sits.

The best part about 8mm was some stuff he said on the commentary track--not lol funny stuff, just some semi-intellectual type musings. And I don't wanna oversell those, I mean I'd hate for someone to go out and rent an 8mm DVD just for Joel's comments 'cause... prolly not worth it.
