So, after a 10-11 day bout of sickness I'm back healthy again! I go to work, and discover I'm being transferred to another store again, Greenwood. Not too bad for me, it's a tiny bit closer, a lot less busy, AND they close an hour earlier every night so I'll be home sooner. There are two major downsides though. One is that I'll miss my regular customers at my old store. I had at least three couples who have said to me personally that the reason they've kept coming back to that store is because of my managing, how I ran things, and how I tried to make time to talk to them and see how everything was and to fix problems so fast and well. The second and largest problem is leaving all my minions...My best, closest crew members are very upset that I'm leaving. Two have said that they want to quit now and one wants to transfer to my new store with me. One came up to me, nearly in tears, and said, "Why are you leaving us? You told me you wouldn't be leaving until May at the earliest! Why do you have to go?!"

I never knew I could inspire such loyalty and devotion...Perhaps I should campaign for public office...Now isn't THAT a scary thought?!
