Glad that the power situation is back to normal, although Wyckoff only lost power for about 4 hours. Not that I would know. I was stuck in the city. Was at work when the power when off. No way of getting home in the forseeable future, so i went home with a coworker and fell asleep on his couch til my parents rescued me. Bleh. Was more of a hassle then anything else. But it was kinda exciting after we were assured it wasn't a terrorist attack. (cause you know that was the FIRST thing that crossed everybodys mind) The city was so quiet after the sun set. Walking to Stuyvesant Town (where my coworker lives.. gorgeous apt with views of the east river) people were a bit panicked but after dark everyone was kinda just chillin outside to stay cool in the heat. And everyone was helping everyone out. My parents didnt have a cell on them, but about ten people offered up their phones to help find me, and even let my mom use a bathroom lol. It was cool, and I was certainly relieved that the power was on by the time I got back to Jersey.
Went to brothers band camp today out in Stroudsberg, Pa. Was the most normal family thing we've done all summer.. watch my brothers marching band lol.
School in t-minus 8 days!!
