It was announced this week that bhagwanx  and I (among several others) have won the cake wrecking contest thrown (as it were) by lisamantchev  . She ran the contest as a promo to her forthcoming book "Eyes Like Stars" which is, um, forthcoming. In July. Hooray!

 Ok, so she's not spooky so much as adorable, but holy cute flippin chicken, batman! Go check out Dooce's website, and read her post about her Halloween, and her frighteningly adorable child and equally frighteningly adorable dog Chuck. Poor Chuck. So abused.  Also, Dooce is funny, so that helps. Well, it helps me.

And chickens are funny, too.
