1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, your favorite kind of sandwich, or maybe your favorite game. Any remark, meaningless or not.

2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.

3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.

4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.

5. When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.

Here are the 5 questions he asked:

1. What is your favorite kind of dancing?  - I don't know that I have a favorite. I love it best when I can just sink into the music and everything is working, and around me I can feel the energy of others filling up the room with light and heat and joy. That's my favorite kind. As far as classes go, I think I have the most fun in modern because I feel more free in the movement, even when it's hard.

2. What is your biggest regret?  - 2006? Um, no. I have a lot of little ones, and some that add up into bigger ones. But if I regret too much, I think then I'm regretting who I am now, and that feels like self-pity. I wish I were a better person, but that's something to strive for more than regret.

3. If you had a clone, what would you make him do for you?  - Dishes. Cleaning in general. But I'm sure there would be some sort of "free the clones" movement, and then I'd be forced into paying them compensation for forced labor, and I'd be a big bad meanie, and eventually forced to do my own dishes once again. So, um, I'd probably tell my clone to go live a good life. In Northumbria, where we are unlikely to be confused for one another.

4. With what film or TV star do you most identify?  - Never thought about it. Whomever is currently falling down a lot. In the literal sense. The writer I think I most write like (or wish I did, but my style is vaguely similar) is Robin McKinley. Will that do?

5. What makes you happy?  - Lots of things. Friends, family, my pets, kids, chocolate, dancing, writing, music, singing, jumping up and down, bad jokes, wry humor, puns, absurdities, roller coasters, cotton candy, warm clean blankets, the ocean, swimming, good food, spring, walking barefoot... I could go on, but you get the picture.
