Merrily, Merrily
And to all a happy holiday, post holiday, and all that. It's been a busy few days. Will take too long to explain right now, so let me sum up (for the time being).
Had lots of fun getting ready for holidays, even if it was hectic. Lots of food hanging around in work and other places. Too much eating. Lots of holly, and also jolly. Fun xmas parties with friends. Games. Pictures (most of which did not turn out to be attractive, so I won't be sharing. Too bad.) Went out xmas eve and hung out with folks. Punked out early as was tired from too much holly jolly and ho-ho-ho. And baking. Did I mention the baking? Had cinnamon rolls for xmas morning. Yum. Had people over xmas day for more holly, and more jolly. And more food. I have lots of leftovers. We played games and laughed and ate and laughed and ate. To quote my college roommate, I'm never eating again.
For today I am tired, a little dispeptic, and my laptop for work won't pick up my wireless internet connection today, so I had to reconnect the mouse and keyboard to my home one to post this. Stupid laptop. I can't figure out what's wrong, and the two things I know to do don't work. So I can't send my work into work. Unless I can fix it. Grr. May have to be fixed this weekend. I go into the office tomorrow and Friday, so it's not the end of teh world today, but it does make checking on things harder. For instance, city names and such. Dammit. I hope I don't run into any hard to find ones today.
Off to run a few errand-type things. And maybe bang on the computer some more. The little lights light up green on the little insert into laptop thingy, and the internet is quite obviously linked up fine through *this* computer. So why, oh why, is it not recognizing it on the other one!?!?!??? Meh. I am not skilled enough to fix it on my own. Will have to call in cavalry.
