I am the walrus

Coo-coo ca-choo. LJ isn't letting me see my journal today, so I can only update it, not look at it. Oddness.

I had very weird dreams last night. One was that there was a woman experimenting with different types of dark, and at a certain thickness the shadow became a bridge to other dimensions/parallel universes. It was dangerous and she didn't know what she was doing (as is so often the case in SF/horror scientific experiments). She ended up in a dimension where her mother was a rabbit and her father was a rat, and her twin sister was trying to kill her. And then everyone was trying to kill her because they could tell she didn't fit somehow. And she could only get back by retracing her steps, but she had to hide from everyone who was chasing her. It was really frightening, but explaining it only makes it sound absurd. Oh, well. Look out for dollops of shadow that don't belong, is what I'm saying. And then try not to fall down them, or get partially changed by them. You'll regret it when your half-rat/ half-bunny sister tries to stab you with a big knife.

Life is hectic and insane and not so fab, so pardon me if I'm offline a bit for awhile. I'll check in, but I might not have lots to say. I do have to tell those who are interested that I did finally get the dvds of my dance performance, and they're pretty cool. Although I look chubbier than I anticipated. I know, the camera adds ten pounds. But did it have to add them to my thighs? In other news, I bought myself an ipod, so I'm all caught up as far as 21st century equipment goes. Or mostly. I'm having fun playing with it, but i keep having to ask smarter people how to do things, like get all songs/tv shows I've bought on other computers to show up on itunes on my home computer. But first, I must nap. Naptime is very, very important.
