[1 - 100 Drabble] Batch 2 #26-#40
Okay, I've been super unproductive so I figured I could at least get a couple drabbles done.
If anyone's forgotten this is part of my 1(word) to 100(words) drabble countdown.

It’s enough to just be friends,
to stay by Jin’s side,
to simply have Jin in his life.
…At least that’s what Kazuya keeps telling himself.

Yoko whimpers as Kamenashi’s foot digs further into his back.
“Even a joke is unforgivable, Sempai.”
“When I grow up, I’m gonna marry Akanishi-kun!”
“Jin is mine.”

His heart throbs painfully and his breath catches in his throat.
He thinks he’s sick, but Koki just laughs when he says so.
“Baka, that’s called being lovesick.”

Sometimes the pressure become too much, and Kazuya can’t keep up.
So Jin wraps his arms around Kazuya’s shaking form.
And it’s enough for Kazuya to smile once more.

Occasionally, Jin is woken up by a soft rapping at his door; Kazuya waiting in the cold night air.
Despite being tired Jin never fails to open the door smiling.

“Would you?”
Kame remembers dreams of baseball and Koshien.
He remembers a boy with a crooked smile and addias sweatpants.
“I gave everything up for Jin once, I’ll do it again.”

Jin has always known - even when everyone else had doubts - that Kazuya was special behind the bushy eyebrows and gangly limbs.
Looking back, sometimes he wishes he were still the only one.

I love you…
Please don’t.
…I love you…
No! No! No!!!
…..Kazu..
Stop. STOP IT!!!
There’s no one else I love more than you Kazuya.
Then why aren’t you here with me!?

The front door opens and closes as Jin steps inside, and Kazuya rushes towards the entryway and smiles brightly.
“Okaeri.”
Grinning, Jin moves forward to hug Kazuya tightly.
“Tadaima.”
Neither has been happier before.

Jin has always been his constant from day one; with his crooked smile and high-pitched laugh.
But it’s not until they’re oceans apart that Kazuya realizes exactly how much the older man means to him.

He wanted a chance to see the world. To learn another language. To live freely.
But when he left something was always amiss.
It’s only late one night that he realizes he left his heart behind.

Koki complains.
Maru sighs heavily.
Most passersby walk on confused, some shake their heads pityingly.
Ueda hides his head in his arms.
Junno blissfully ignores everything.
T-TUN wishes Jin and Kame would at least go home first.

He’s supposed to be the “mature” one, so he tries to be understanding and send Jin off with a smile on his face.
But he doesn’t think he can, not when his heart is slowly breaking to pieces.

Jin doesn’t always know who “Kamenashi” is. The Johnny with that patent idol smile who always knows what to say.
But it’s okay, he doesn’t mind. Because he might not always know “Kamenashi”, but he’ll always know his Kazuya.

They first meet on a Sunday evening.
On a Tuesday Jin calls Kazuya, Kazu.
It’s Saturday when Jin’s heart skips a beat for the first time at Kazuya’s smile.
Nearly a week later on Friday Jin realizes he’s in love.
