(no subject)
Poo. Sushi night was cancelled again.. and just when I thought I'd have to go to Tiff's housewarming (not all that fun.. her and a bunch of their 30+ yr old Asian friends sitting around talking), Tim came to the rescue and invited me to Morongo w/ him, Niko and David.. so off we went on an hour long drive which consisted of a lot of congested traffic due to a bunch of rubberneckers. >=( And.. I was subjected to 90 minutes of metal. ...where's my Deathcab.. :(
Ok, so we finally got there and I realized that I really shouldn't be gambling since I tend to be really bad at it and I'd end up giving all my money away.. :)
So instead of blackjack-ing with them, I sat beside them and watched and worked my powers of good luck (since I bring bad luck to myself.. I must bring good luck to others..). Obviously, it worked. Niko was up over $300 and Tim was up over $150 but David.. welllll.. the poor get poorer. Poor guy. Hahaha. But then the dealers switched and the new chick named Simona robbed all three of the guys..
There was this jolly middle-aged Asian man at the table next to us who was glowing red like a tomato and basically WAYYYY too excited every time he won a hand.. the dealer looked like he had a helluva time though. Oh yeah, at one point we had this dealer named John who honestly looked like he could go berzerk on your ass and strangle you to death. He had that like...wide-eyed crazy hair rough card-dealing thing going on.. totally made us feel uncomfortable, but after talking to him for a bit, he turned out to be an awesome guy.
Basically, by the end of the night, Niko left with $325, Tim left with $120 or so, and David left with a dollar. :) Good times..good times.. Next time I'll give it a go if I feel the need to throw some money away.
Allen, Howard and Oliver kept calling me but 1. I could barely hear cuz I had almost no reception.. and 2. I couldn't understand a thing they were saying. I just kept hearing "IT'S ALLEN...IT'S OLIVER..hahaha AND HOWARD...hahah HII...ALLhahaEN..hahaOL- SUP BABE. HIII-laughter laughterhahaha." ...
Now I must bs some homework and make a chipotle run for Red Cross. :) Maybe work tonight 6-10.. I don't know.. I'm on call. I need hours but if I work that means I miss the first part of Grey's. :(((( Boooo.
