So I was getting distracted from my homework, and discovered that the Wikipedia article about FPS is sadly lacking in many respects, for example distinguishing between the way competition progresses in different affiliates. However, I don't have the time or the knowledge to perfect it right now, but if others of you would go and edit to your hearts' content, I'm sure the world would appreciate it.
