I am not well disposed about charges against the Catholic Church. But what has come out from the Benedictine abbey of Ealing, west London, and its school, is so atrocious that I am firmly convinced that the whole abbey ought to be investigated as a criminal association. It is not just impossible, it is inconceivable, that abuse could have gone on for forty years, and involved more than a half dozen both monks and lay teachers, without the whole organization being rotten. You don't have so many different people committing the same crime over such a long period without the whole organization being involved. This abbey is a criminal organization.
(Unfortunately, the putrid ambulance chaser who had managed to get representation of some of the victims does not seem in the least interested in investigating these long complicities. What she wants is to be allowed to take money from the universal Church under the long-heard lie that the whole Church is somehow responsible for these crimes. This not only means that she will use her and her victims' energies to squeeze money from the Church, but that the real issue - the decades of complicity and organized crime at that precise spot - will be ignored.)
