I heard back from all the REU programs I applied to. I got accepted to two (both of the California ones) and was rejected from the other three (Michigan, Rochester, and Hong Kong). My plans are staying the same, though. Nine weeks at UCLA, here I come

we a little bit switched places. here's my reasoning:
i live 45 minutes from rochester
you live an hour from purchase
(basically the same amount of time... work with me)

you go to school in rochester and i go to school at purchase

this sounded much more awesome in my head. indulge me and find it awesome too, please.

It made perfect sense, even with the drunk! We did switch. It's crazy.

I just about spazzed out in my mind when you said you could take a course at New Paltz (an online course, but at New Paltz none the less). Why? Because New Paltz rocks and is basically as close as a city can get to my house without violating the East Bumblefuck Law Of Distance-To-A-City.

the class i wanted tot ake is closed, but i'm trying to take another one. basically i'm trying my hardest NOT to have to drive myself to school every day for three weeks.

You'll love UCLA. Their mascot is a Bruin Bear!!! And there's a Didi Reese where they sell 25 cent cookies (actually I think they're 35 cents now).

25 and 35 are different numbers. Just throwing that out there.

Notice how she said they might be 35 cents. I'm taking that as the cost since 35 cents is still pretty cheap for cookies.
