What an interesting week it's been!
- Had to call emergency yesterday morning. Mum woke me up at about quarter to 6 by knocking on her headboard! I thought Dad had locked himself out or something and was knocking and mum was just lazy. But turns out that mum had tried to open her eyes but when she did, the room was spinning severely. And she couldn't move her head because it made her nauseous. So we called the ambulance and got taken to the hospital. I stayed with her the whole day (saying the same things and answering the same questions to doctors/nurses). We had such a shit nurse at one point.
Anyway they said it might've been an inner ear thing but then saw her ECG had an abnormality. I went home and slept and came back this morning and she was all better! After the meds and that. But they still don't really have a cause, so next week, she's got to book an ECHO to check that she didn't have a mini heart attack or anything (her mum died of a heart attack).
So we're home now, and she seems fine :) I hope everything'll be alright when she wakes up tomorrow!
- Work is a bit of a bother. I'm just a bit in the middle of things at the moment. I don't know when I'm supposed to be doing Stock Receiving or if I should be learning the Stock Controller role... the current Stock Controller just suddenly took 3wks leave because of the stress (and she's, like, 2 months pregnant). So yeah, I'm not stressed per se, just a bit here and there in my head lol
My boss? Now he IS stressed which is understandble!
- Considering my mum's health, it means I can take her car tomorrow and drive to work. On my own. LOL. Let's hope I don't end up hospitalised!
- oh btw I got an iPhone! It's very pretty, it's name is Dexter and he lives in a sock at the moment until I get him a case. And I am addicted to TapTap.
- The rest of this week should be good. Work's going to be hella busy tomorrow then I'm going to a friend's "Nerd Up" (Wii-ing and Rock Band-ing). Then Saturday should be some retail therapy (need to get a wedding dress for my boss/cousins wedding!) and Jesse's dinner party (that's a whole post in itself). Sunday shall be father's day yum cha with the family!
- I just bought New Moon tickets! Fucking $41. Includes ticket for the midnight screening at 12.05am the 19th Nov, "limited edition" popcorn/drink combo (what does that even mean?) and the New Moon edition of Girlfriend magazine. I had enough money on my card just for 4 tickets lol so Sophie, her mum, and Jesse (see? whole post...) are coming with because they said yes last time I asked (and couldn't get the tickets because of shit seats). The cinema I chose is like 5 minutes from my house... so that suited me fine haha I do need to work THAT day!
Anyway, I am really tired from the hospitaling as much as I would like to update more esp. about how amazing that last episode of True Blood was (AMAZING!). But yes, I am tired. And poor. Poor and tired.
