I am tired and procrastinating. I actually have something I need to do right now. That company I had the phone interview with on Friday has sent me some site that they want candidates to evaluate basically as a "test" for the first stage of recruitment. I hadn't done much research into the company before I applied but I've found out it helps people with investments and that. It's like... real life stuff. I don't know the first thing about investments, maybe even less that I know about politics! So anyway, I'm trying to write a review of this e-mail thingy they've sent me... it's really long to read let alone review! And... I don't know what they expect me to say? The instructions were: "As discussed via telephone, here is a recent outbound marketing effort of ours. Can you tell me what you think of it?" How vague is that?
I'm not going to bother critiquing the content - because it'll probably just make me look like an idiot but I guess I'll write stuff on layout and how effective it could be?/is?
Oh well, at least the e-mail also stated that if we hadn't heard back from them by the end of the week it's a no go. That's better than getting a call to say you sucked (or not getting a specific call back date at all!).
ETA Ah yes. I am write a Year 12 Article Analysis. Joy.
