Last weekend, an impromptu trip to Ghim Moh Market for makan with my parents… (with my parents, it almost always is a last minute decision on where to eat or what to eat. my irritated husband just has to live with it haha.)

Some of us LJ girls finally met up for our belated Christmas dinner (had to be shifted here n there due to conflicting schedules) - and I’m glad we met up at this great place where we got chatter away with no one else overhearing our conversation and have decent food with free parking and no need to worry about lack of parking spaces. I’ve been doing crazy colors for a while by then, but I finally took the plunge and kicked off 2012 with my favorite hair color of all - Turquoise.

It was a color and effect only a salon could achieve for me - and I decided to get that done by John of Salon Vim.

You know how some couples end up getting fat together because they’re happy together? It’s true.

When I met Yang, I wasn’t exactly stick thin, but thin enough. I was 42kg - at my lowest, I was 39 or 40 kg? It may sound alarming, but sheesh, I’m just 1.54m tall yo. And to be honest - deep down inside I was really unhealthy and unhappy back when I ( Read more... )
