Was sent 6 polishes from a new brand,
Exposed Nails’, for review by
Glamogirl.
Glamogirl.com is a local beauty online shop, and has 7 beauty brands under its belt at the moment. The
Glamogirl team goes searching around the world for top quality products, while maintaining an affordable price range - no ridiculous mark ups, so that every one can afford it. Shipping is free for orders above $50 and costs $4.70 for orders below $50 SGD. You can also opt for pick up - and very unfortunately, they do not ship overseas.
Exposed Nail Polishes that are created using Fiabila Nail Technologies i.e one of France’s leading manufacturer of nail enamel products, and are free from the toxic-trio (Formaldehyde, Dibutyl Phthalate and Toluene) that are usually found in your typical nail polishes. They are only retailing at $12/each, and comes in 74 shades at the moment.
There is an
offer price at $6 and I’m not very sure how long that will last - Hurry over!
I’d picked 6 colors, and I somehow chose colors which were really similar to each other. As expected of me, blues, turquoises, and purples!
Rock Star (48) & Rock Chick (46)
Something Borrowed (64) & Milano (65)
Diva Fever (57) & Aqua Baby (59)
Exposed Nail polishes’ brushes are easy to work with, and have no wayward hairs in the brush - all 6 brushes were in good condition for me.
Rock Star
Rock Chick
Rock Chick & Rock Star may look very similar, but are different in daylight (with artificial lighting it’s a little harder to tell). Rock Star has a blue-er base (as you can see on the VNL) - whereas Rock Chick has just slightly better coverage and it has silver glitter instead of pink ones.
Something Borrowed
Something Borrowed is a Royal Blue polish with fine shimmer shot through it, and this is a really lovely color! It’ll make an excellent base for blue glitter polishes too! (I’m thinking of Nubar’s Starry Night!
Milano
Milano is a blue polish with very fine shimmer - it has a pearlscent finish to it and the formula was good.
Aqua Baby
Aqua Baby is a a turquoise color - a little more green than Tiffany’s famous robin egg blue and dries a little matte. With top coat it is a really lovely hue of turquoise and I love this color to bits. The formula was creamy and full opacity was achieved in 2 coats.

Diva Fever
Diva Fever is a really good layering polish - it contains various sizes of glitter in a green tinted base, and some of the glitters are holographic! Crazy about this one. It’s lovely layered on it’s on with a sponge, or over Aqua Baby.

just on tips
Too pretty for words! This is a must have - it can get a little goopy though (my bottle arrived goopy) but that can be easily fixed with a few drops of polish thinner. If need be, you can add a little bit of top coat in maybe - but if you are using seche vite, do take note that it’s not the big 3 free and therefore can render this polish “un-big3-free”.
And I actually took some time to create a little christmas nail wheel with the colors!

Done mostly with Exposed Nail Polish colors - I am especially fond of the blue ones with the snowflakes - both the full nail and the french tipped one - they can be used together in a full manicure! The Christmas tree, and the jeweled french tip are also lovely. I’ve always loved blings for Christmas nails.
The entire nail wheel was achieved with exposed nail polishes + star embellishments, snowflake stickers, star stickers, star stencils, striping tape and some nail art brushes! Please excuse my lousy candy cane stripes - I’m really not good with the striping brush!
If any one would like a tutorial for any of the designs, please let me know and I’ll try my best! (I’m not exactly a pro here, haha)
Thank you, Glamo Girl for introducing this brand to me! I’m eyeing GlamourPuss, All Nighter and Crown Jewels!
Psst, Cosmopolitan looks like a dupe for China Glaze’s Deviantly Daring - but at $2 lesser (for now)!
