At the rate the hotels are getting booked up and no slots, I might as well hold my wedding dinner in Jumbo. -_-”
Well the plans are…
1. Wedding dinner at Carlton (but max 34 tables?)
2. Wedding dinner at Hilton (HAUNTED!)
3. Wedding dinner at Klapsons (not called them yet!)
4. Wedding dinner at Orchard hotel (worse.. max 32 tables)
5. Wedding dinner at Fairmont (about 1221nett, urgh exp..)
and my seemingly favourite option,
6. Wedding LUNCH at Swissotel Merchant Court.
: D
I like the idea of a wedding lunch, especially at swissotel merchant (near my liang court - lotsa good food + big + high ceiling), but it’s from 12-4pm and it means EVERYONE has to be there on time. I don’t mind the short hours. We chop chop present cut cake pour champagne (skip yamseng can or not?) play slide show and quickly makan. Ideal leh. HURHUR! Food seems not bad and cheap.
Or should I have lunch at Sheraton?
DECISIONS!!!
I have questions too.
Wedding dinner….
- usually how many tables does the male give?
- pin jin usually give how much eh?
- if say the guy gives my family 10 tables, and my family wants 15.. they pay for their own 5 tables and keep all 15 table’s angpows??? (by right)

And oh did I mention. My boyfriend nearly killed all of us today. He started to boil water at 7+am and it was boiling all the way till 1138am when his younger brother found out.
I thought it was switched off when I finally got my ass downstairs at 1245pm.
But nooooooooooooo…… IT WAS ON SLOW BOIL! (small fire)
Apparently his brother didn’t turn it off and switched it to the smaller fire instead. *palmforehead*
Please, bestow a good, reliable and not-too-horny househelp upon us soon. The men in the house needs it. My life (and Kaori’s) somehow depends on it.
Nooooooooooo…..
*flees back to housework and work*
