2009
Here I am again. Last year I was too lazy to write a full end-of-year thing, and this year I'm not sure I have enough material to write a huge thing. I suppose I'll talk about what's worth remembering:
I made some new work friends. I lost work. I moved. I began losing weight...REALLY losing weight. I volunteered and discovered a love for dogs I didn't know I had. I started to feel a warmth for myself that I haven't felt in a while. I had good times with friends, not so good times with them too. Same with family.
The country lost a lot of money, and so did I, in the end. We lost a king and some sea lions, found a black president, and realized we were wrong about so many things. We found that a beauty queen is a beauty queen is a beauty queen, regardless of who she thinks should or should not be married, and that a former president can in fact take more action than a current one.
I think that 2010 is going to be a good year. Let's make it a great one!
