Here's to new friends!
I was lying in bed this morning thinking about my old best friend from high school. It's been over 10 ten years since we graduated from high school and nearly 6 years since we've spoken. I tried to remember what kind of personality she had. What was it that bonded us together at the time? We did have a pretty tight bond back then, but when I look back on that now, we were living different lives 10 years ago then we are right now. And alot of shit changes after 10 years.
Then I thought of today and how it's been almost 6 months since I've spoken to my other best friend. Do you think that we throw around the word best friend to loosely? Cause if you can't depend on your best friend to turn to in times of need, then who can you turn to?
